ISKES 2018

The 2nd International Sea Kayaking Educators Symposium brings together outdoor adventure educators from around the world who value both the sea and sea kayaking for their unique and powerful learning potential.
Dates: 11th – 15th of November 2018
Venue: Wilsons Promontory National Park, Australia
Registration Fee: $650 AUD
ISKES conveners ‘Beau and Ponch’ introduce the upcoming Symposium and discuss our key themes.
We expect most of our attendees to come as both a participant and a presenter. A mix of standard (45 minute), extended (90 minute) and half day sessions will take place on both land and water.
From Sunday 11th to Thursday 15th of November, delegates will participate in a number of activities, presentations and workshops.
As an extra to the symposium. Delegates may wish to join one of the pre-symposium paddles around the beautiful Nooramunga Marine Reserve, from the 8th - 11th of November.

Wilsons Promontory

The 2018 symposium will be held at Wilsons Promontory National Park, located on the southern-most tip of the Australian Mainland and 3 hours from Melbourne.

Returning delegates get a below-cost deal given how much we value a long-term community of sea kayak education (ISKES 3.0 will likely head to the northern hemisphere again). Students will be attending from our partnered institutions.
